Keri Brandt Off is a professor in the Department of Sociology and the Gender & Sexuality Studies program at Fort Lewis College. She joined the college in 2005. Brandt Off's primary field of research is in human-animal studies with a particular focus on human-horse relationships and communication and the intersection of gender in these relationships. More recently her work centers around how humans, animals, and landscapes co-create shared worlds together, and how all these worlds intersect in the context of agriculture and food.
