Kerim Çiçek – is associate professor of Biology at Ege University (Izmir, Turkey), where he teaches courses about zoology. Kerim has authored or co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed scientific publications and is co-editor for the journal Biharean Biologist. He has over 15 years of experience in research and monitoring biodiversity with a focus on Turkish herptiles. He is working on taxonomy, biogeography, ecology, and conservation of Turkish amphibians and reptiles.
