Kerryn Brent is lecturer in law at the University of Tasmania. Kerryn researches in the area of international environmental law, with a particular focus on the governance of geoengineering technologies.

In 2017, Kerryn was awarded her doctoral thesis from the University of Tasmania. Her thesis examined what role customary international law might play in governing solar radiation management geoengineering. Her research interests include international law, climate change law, and science, technology and the law.
