I am a post-docoral research fellow in the School of Business at the University of Victoria. I am a macroeconomist by training and my current research focuses on financial and economic risks related to climate change.
I am currently working on the 'Climate Finance Project', which is funded by the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS) in partnership with our solution seeker, British Columbia Investment Corporation (BCI), a pension fund. Our team is developing a methodology to translate financial risks related to climate policy into quantitative, portfolio level metrics for investment decision making.
Other research analyses green fiscal stimulus in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Another project of mine uses the Canadian national income accounts to measure differences in exposure to future carbon pricing risks across provinces and industries.
