Assistant Professor of Economics, University of Alaska Anchorage

Dr. Kevin Berry is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He has published 12 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and is a PI, Co-PI, or Co-I on two NOAA funded projects and three NSF funded projects. He is a member of the Beijer Young Scholars at the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics within the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and an Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) Fellow contributing to the Assessment on Invasive Alien Species. Dr. Berry's research focuses on the human response to environmental risk, including both individual and institutional responses to infectious disease, invasive species, and climate change.
