Khemais Abdellaoui

Dr. Khemais Abdellaoui is an Associate Professor of Insect Physiology at the Higher Agronomic Institute of Chott Meriem, University of Sousse, Tunisia. He completed his M.Sc. (2004) and his PhD (2009) on locust Eco-Physiology at the University of Sousse. His main scientific fields are the search of alternative methods of locusts control focusing on the use of botanical insecticides and biological control agents including fungi and bacteria. He has 17 years of experience in rearing and studying locusts both in the laboratory and in the field. He has about 30 publications in peer reviewed journals and more than 70 presentations in scientific conferences. Dr. Khemais Abdellaoui is member of several projects and many national and international committees.
