Kieran Phelan is a PhD researcher of economic geography.

Kieran's research looks at the geographies and ethnographies of fashion, making, craft and work. His PhD thesis explores how value is accrued and communicated along commodity chains and how ideas of work and place are used to build compelling brands. He teaches on these broad themes, as well as commodity activism and the politics of storytelling within fashion and food branding.
