Lecturer in Cyber Security, University of Plymouth

Kimberly is a lecturer in cybersecurity and researches maritime cybersecurity at the University of Plymouth. She teaches cyber-security related areas as well as computer systems and engineering.

She is interested in many of the "newer" niche areas of cybersecurity. Her PhD focused on Android smartphone security and her current research concerns maritime security, which broadly includes IT, OT, and human elements across ships, ports, and offshore structures.

She enjoys working with other disciplines outside of computing, including (but not limited to), maritime, psychology, history, statistics, gaming, robotics, and (homomorphic) cryptography.
