Krista M. Chronister

Professor, psychology, University of Oregon

I graduated with my PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Oregon in 2003. The focus of my scholarship is the impact of partner violence on the work experiences and vocational development of girls and women, and development of community-based preventive interventions to address that impact.
I also study family members' and friends' response to loved ones who are experiencing partner violence and cultural and community strengths may be used more effectively reduce partner violence.
