Dr. Henze is a historian of African-American and American history. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2017. She studies and teaches courses on Twentieth-Century American History, the Black Freedom Movement, U.S. South, and Empire, Imperialism, and Colonization.
