Geochemist (critical minerals), Geoscience Australia

Kristy Guerin is a Geochemist at Geoscience Australia, specialising in the study of critical minerals. She is currently engaged in a high-purity quartz project within the Australian Critical Minerals Research and Development Hub.

Previously, Kristy held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the W.H. Bryan Mining and Geology Research Centre (BRC), where she was part of the Mine Waste Transformation through Characterisation (MIWATCH) group. She completed her PhD in Geochemistry and Mineralogy at the Queensland University of Technology in 2022.
