Kyle Frackman is Associate Professor of German and Nordic Studies at the University of British Columbia. His research and teaching focus on literary, film, and media studies and the history of sexuality, especially in German-speaking areas. He is the author of the book "Coming Out" (2022, Camden House), a study of the first and last East German feature film about homosexuality.
