Langutani Masehela

Qualifications: PhD in Higher Education (Rhodes University), MA in Applied Linguistics (University of Johannesburg), Honours in Linguistics (University of the Western Cape), BA in English and Linguistics (University of Limpopo), HED (University of LImpopo)

Langutani’s responsibilities lie in the provision of student support and development activities which include the manning of the institution-wide mentoring and tutoring programmes. Her research interests are on issues around the assurance of quality in teaching and learning in higher education, access and success. Issues of student support such as mentoring and tutoring are also of great interest in her research work. Langutani has a wealth of experience as a lecturer of Linguistics and Media Studies at the University of Venda and English language at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
