Laura Aylsworth

Dr. Laura Aylsworth's (she/her) professional background spans academia, community non-profit, and government. She specializes in critical feminist, intersectional, and criminological analyses, with a social justice praxis. Her research examines health care access barriers for underserved communities, socio-economic wellness and disparity, and lived experience of socio-legal oppression.

Laura holds a B.Soc.Sc (Joint Honours in Criminology and Women Studies) from the University of Ottawa, MA (Sociology) from Carleton University, and PhD (Sociology) from the University of Alberta.
