Laura Hubbs-Tait

Dr. Laura Hubbs-Tait is a Regents Professor at Oklahoma State University in the Department of Human Development and Family Science where she has taught since 1992. Her research focuses on how parenting is related to children’s weight and eating, social and emotional competence, and cognitive skills. She is on the editorial board of the journal, Parenting: Science and Practice. Her 2012 appointment as a Parenting Specialist for Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service has allowed her to provide parent education training to Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Educators across the state of Oklahoma.
