Research Associate at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership, King's College London

Laura is a Research Associate at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership where her research focuses on understanding the barriers and facilitators to women's progression in the workplace, and the factors leading to negative perceptions of female leaders. Prior to that she was a Research Associate at the Policy Institute at King's College London working across a range of areas, including improving women's representation in engineering education. Beyond the Institute she sits on the board of the Orwell Society.

Before moving into research she worked as a producer in broadcast journalism and documentary, working on programmes such as Panorama and Dispatches.
