Ph.D. Student in Civil Engineering and Climate Science, Penn State

Lauren is a Civil Engineering and Climate Science Dual-Title Ph.D. student in the Water Resources Engineering program at Penn State. She received her M.S. in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science from Penn State in 2019 where she studied methane emissions from potential subsurface gas migration from shale gas wells. Her research interests include climate change and water resources, critical infrastructure management and policy, the Food-Energy-Water nexus, and decision-making under uncertainty.
