I am currently a doctoral student in the University of Guelph's Social Practice and Transformational Change program. I am interested in exploring the ways stories can influence and transform systems. I earned my Master's degree at the University of Waterloo in Public Service and I have an bachelor's degree in Social Development Studies, specializing in policy and social action. I have been a member of The Waterloo Region Record's Community Editorial Board for the past four years. I have written many editorials on social justice issues within my community. For the past year I have worked in Eviction Prevention at the Social Development Centre, developing on-the-ground knowledge of the current housing crisis. I have experience working in municipal governments as an Economic Researcher and as a Program Assistant in the Mayor's office. I also work in the University of Guelph's Live Work Well Research Centre as a Research Cluster Lead Liaison, supporting and promoting the important work of the Research Centre.
