Lecturer in Discourse Analysis and Language in the Media, Swansea University

Leanne Bartley started working in academia in 2008 as a research assistant at the University of Jaén, Spain, within a research project examining learner corpora. At that time, Leanne also completed her MA and subsequently took up a contract at the University of Granada as a Visiting Scholar. Since completion of her PhD at the University of Granada in 2017, she has been employed at Swansea University, teaching modules in Discourse Analysis and Language in the media. Her main interests are Forensic Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis and Corpus Linguistics.
