Senior Lecturer in Events Management, Teesside University

Leon has worked in academia since 2013. His main research interests are in fandom, events and sociological culture. His PhD focused on the significance of prosumer fandom at live sports events, namely live PDC darts. He has also published research in the fields of sport, tourism and aviation. Leon's current research revolves around the impact of COVID-19 on the ski tourism industry and the aspect of live fan engagement at professional sports events.
