Dr. Leslie Roos is an Assistant Professor the University of Manitoba with appointments in Psychology and Paediatrics. As Co-Director of the Hearts and Minds Lab, Dr. Roos studies the impact of early life stress on bio-behavioural development, and conducts clinical research to refine programs aimed at promoting supportive parenting and family mental health. Dr. Roos is also a Junior Fellow with the Centre on the Developing Child at Harvard University and Affiliated Scientist with the Children's Hospital Institute of Manitoba. The ultimate goal of her work is to empower caregivers to build fun and rewarding parent-child relationships that are aligned with their family values.
