Leslie Neal-Boylan

Dean of the Solomont School of Nursing, UMass Lowell

Leslie Neal-Boylan, PhD, APRN, CRRN, FAAN, is the dean of the Solomont School of Nursing and vice dean of the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She is a family nurse practitioner with an active clinical practice. Neal-Boylan’s primary area of scholarship is the nurse workforce, particularly nurses with disabilities.

She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and 10 books. Three of her books have received American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year awards. Neal-Boylan is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and an AACN-Wharton Fellow. She is associate editor for the "Journal for Nurse Practitioners" and an editorial board member and manuscript reviewer for a variety of peer-reviewed journals.
