Linda E. Sanchez is an Anthropology Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine. She received a B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology from San Diego State University. Her M.A. research focuses on unaccompanied minors from Central America and Mexico who came to the U.S. without documentation. Her doctoral research focuses on recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and individuals that were eligible for DACA but did not apply, and what happens to them now that the program has been rescinded.
