Assistant Professor of Sociology, University of California, Santa Cruz

I am a geographer with research interests in urban environments and social justice. My research questions, methods, and analysis are deeply engaged with political ecology, feminist geography, critical race theory, and science and technology studies.

I recently spent two wonderful years as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis, in the American Studies Department. This summer I moved to UC Santa Cruz, where I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology. I am affiliated with the Environmental Studies Department and the Science and Justice Center. I am on the steering committee of the Environmental Data and Justice Initiative. You can contact me at lidillon@ucsc.edu.
