I am a research scientist at the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use and the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS; and an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of British Columbia. A medical sociologist, I conduct observational, intervention and research participation studies on the relationship between socio-economic marginalization and health among people who use drugs.
