Lisa Bero

Prof. Bero joined the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center as Research Professor, School of Public Health and Medicine and Scientific Director, Center for Bioethics and Humanities in 2020. Previously, she was Chair of Health Outcomes at the Charles Perkins Centre, The University of Sydney, where she founded the Evidence, Policy and Influence Collaborative Research Group; she was Professor, Health Policy and Clinical Pharmacy, University of California, San Francisco from 1991 to 2014. She is Senior Editor, Research Integrity and Public Health and Health System Network Senior Editor for Cochrane and was Co-Chair of the Cochrane Governing Board 2014-18. She is internationally recognized for her work on evidence synthesis, bias, conflicts of interest and use of evidence in decisions.
