I'm an associate professor in the School of Journalism at Ryerson University; prior to joining Ryerson, I was a lawyer and, before that, a CBC journalist.
My research explores issues at the intersection of law and journalism. I am the co-editor of The Unfulfilled Promise of Press Freedom (University of Toronto Press, 2017).
