Liz Stephens is a Professor of Climate Risks and Resilience in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading, in a joint position with the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, where she serves as the Science Lead. Liz's research sits at the intersection of science and practice, working on both the forecasts of natural hazards and the integration of this forecast information for decision-making, working extensively within the humanitarian sector. Liz's projects span across multiple countries, leveraging her expertise in hydrometeorological hazards to improve emergency responses and climate risk management worldwide.
