Lizzie Aviv

Ph.D. Candidate in Psychology, University of Southern California

Lizzie started the Clinical Science doctoral program at USC in 2020. Her research examines how parents, and particularly dads, adapt to their roles and negotiate their responsibilities with one another, and how that negotiation impacts new parents’ romantic relationships. She approaches the research with a focus on gender and sociocultural factors. She is currently conducting research investigating parents’ division of labor and its implications for relationship functioning.
