Loai Albarqouni

Loai is an Assistant Professor and NHMRC Emerging Leader Fellow at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare (IEBH). He is a medical doctor (MD) from Palestine and completed an MSc in clinical epidemiology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Loai completed his PhD in evidence-based practice at Bond University in 2019. His research expertise includes evidence synthesis, evidence-informed healthcare, improving the uptake of effective non-drug interventions in primary care, and reducing overdiagnosis and overuse of unnecessary healthcare services.
