Loren Abell

Loren is a Senior Lecturer in Social Psychology at Nottingham Trent University and is member of the Bullying and Aggressive Behaviour Research group at NTU Psychology.

Loren completed her PhD on Machiavellianism and manipulation in female relationships. Her research has focused on Machiavellianism and sexual and romantic relationships, Machiavellianism in friendships and relational aggression behaviour in offline and online contexts. Loren has recently conducted research focusing on Banter in online and offline contexts, the distinction between banter and bullying, and Banter and sexual harassment.
