Louis Volante

Louis Volante (PhD) is a Professor at Brock University, Professorial Fellow at UNU-MERIT, and President of the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE). He has held Visiting Professor appointments in England (UCL IOE), the Netherlands (UNU-MERIT), and Canada (University of Toronto). His current research is focused on the global education governance; international organizations and policy diffusion; policy planning, implementation, and evaluation; politics and education reform; AI and assessment policies. A frequent invited speaker, Professor Volante has worked as an advisor and evaluator for international organizations and governments around the world. His publications are widely cited in academic and policy communities.
