Deputy Head: Marketing Entrepreneurship Tourism, Anglia Ruskin University

After setting up and running a successful archaeology consultancy for ten years - I completed a PhD in entrepreneurship, and moved into academia. This was quite a change from managing a staff of 58, and running multi-million euro infrastructure projects! I am currently Deputy Head of Research and Enterprise (Marketing, Enterprise and Tourism).

My research interests are entrepreneurship-as-practice and process
Homo habilis or Homo economicus? entrepreneurship as tool-use
Moving beyond the Business Plan as enterprise teaching tool
Social issues and entrepreneurship
Heideggerian approaches to enterprise
Women in Business and Society
Entrepreneurship as a form of self-expression, empowerment and freedom
