Lucy Budd

My research explores issues of airspace management and airline and airport regulation, policy and operations worldwide. I have undertaken research for the European Commission, Eurocontrol, the UK Department for Transport, the UK Government Office for Science and private sector clients as well as RCUK research funded by the EPSRC and ESRC.

I sit on the Editorial Boards of four leading multidisciplinary transport journals, maintain an active presence in national broadcast and print media and, in 2018, was invited to join an expert panel advising the UK Government on its Aviation Strategy.
