Research Fellow in the Climate Smart Cities Team, University of Leeds

Lucy is a Research Fellow on the Economics of Climate Smart Cities research program at the University of Leeds. Lucy's research focuses on the role of national and municipal governments in urban green growth. In particular, this work looks at ways in which climate change adaptation and mitigation policies can contribute to wider development objectives in cities, such as poverty alleviation, increased energy security, better public health, employment generation, and improved public finances.

Previously, Lucy coordinated a multistakeholder partnership designed to strengthen links between research and practice in sustainable urban land governance, based at Utrecht University.
