Luke John Murphy

Luke John Murphy is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Archaeology at the University of Iceland. His research focuses on "material religion" - the physical objects and activities that help humans practice their religious beliefs - in pre-Christian and Medieval Europe. He has previously held postdoctoral and teaching positions at the University of Leicester (UK), Stockholm University (Sweden), and the University of Iceland; as well as having studied in the UK, Denmark, and Iceland.
