I joined the School of Psychological Sciences and Health at Strathclyde in January 2017, having previously worked in the Psychology group at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) for nine years. I completed my PhD in Health Psychology and MSc in Psychological Research Methods at the University of Stirling and undergraduate Psychology degree at the University of Glasgow.
My research is within health psychology and public health and I am interested in the psychological aspects of infection prevention and control, particularly in relation to vaccine hesitancy, antimicrobial resistance and covid-19. I am also interested in the link between personality factors and health outcomes, and have researched a number of personality constructs, including Type D personality.
