Assistant Professor of Management, Indiana University

Professor Chin’s research interests are focused within the field of strategic management, particularly on issues concerning socio-psychological factors in top management teams and their influences on organizational outcomes. His current research focuses on the influence of top executives’ political ideologies on various organizational outcomes, such as strategic decisions, corporate governance, activism, corporate entrepreneurship, corporate financial and social performance. His research has been published in leading academic journals in management, including Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, and Strategic Management Journal, as well as in a book chapter published by Oxford University Press. His teaching focuses on strategic management areas, including strategic leadership, corporate governance, and international management. He serves on the Editorial Review Board for Strategic Management Journal and Administrative Science Quarterly.
