Magdalena Simonis

Senior Honorary Research Fellow, Department of General Practice,, University of Melbourne

Magdalena is a Fellow of The Royal College of General Practitioners, holds a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Masters degree in Health and Human Services. Her career objectives include a commitment to disease prevention and health equity.

Her interests include Medical Advocacy, Gender Equity, Climate Change impacts on health. She is National Coordinator for the Australian Federation of Medical Women, President of the Victorian Medical Women’s Society, Co-Chair Scientific and Research Subcommittee of the Medical Women’s International Association and on the RACGP Expert Committee for Quality Care.
