Doctoral Researcher, University of Manchester

Malte is a PhD student at the Sustainable Consumption Institute, University of Manchester.

In his research, he explores the British Market for meat alternatives, particularly focusing on how meat alternatives are presented to be identical to meat on the one hand, and different from meat on the other hand.

Apart from his immediate PhD, Malte is interested in researching the interrelation of technology and society, and how they shape and influence each other; of particular interest are how culture, society, and the environment are interrelated.
