The research of Dr Manuel Varlet focuses on the processes underlying unintentional or spontenaous synchronisation of our movements with other people and environmental rhythms. Before joining the The MARCS Institute at the University of Western Sydney in 2013, Dr Varlet was researcher at the EuroMov Centre of Montpellier-1 University (France) and the centre for Cognition, Action and Perception of the University of Cincinnati (USA).
