Marco Bocchese has been an assistant professor of International Relations at Webster Vienna Private University since August 2021. Prior to joining Webster, he worked as a visiting assistant professor of political science at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he taught several undergraduate courses in international relations and international law.

Marco Bocchese received his doctorate, MA, and LL.M. from Northwestern University, and a JD from the University of Verona. His research on state relations with international criminal tribunals has been published or is forthcoming in the Michigan State International Law Review, the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics, the Washington International Law Journal, the International Journal of Human Rights, the International Criminal Law Review, the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, the Journal of Conflict and Security Law, Global Governance, and the Journal of International Criminal Justice.
