Senior scientist in Sustainability Research, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich

I was educated in Italy (Pharmacy, Toxicology) and Germany (Analytical and environmental chemistry).

Together with Dr. Wolfgang Sachs I was co-editor of the Italian version of the book of the Wuppertal Institute “Futuro sostenibile” (Edizioni Ambiente, 2011), http://www.slideshare.net/morosini1952/futuro-sostenibile-2011-wuppertal-institut/

In 2006 I had a column in the “Ethical living” section of the Italian news magazine Internazionale. My articles were published in scientific journals and leading newspapers in Europe, e.g. Le Monde, Courrier International, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Basler Zeitung, Tageszeitung, Wochenzeitung, Avvenire, Aggiornamenti sociali, Internazionale.

I worked in ten documentary films on polar and mountain expeditions or on sustainable development.

I teach Cases in Environmental Policy and Decision Making at the ETH Zurich.

I do research on energy policy and the “2000-watt society” at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, where I work since 2001 on indicator systems of sustainable development, and where I was guest professor in 2004.
1998-2001 I was project leader and editor of a study on the systems of sustainability indicators at the Centre of Technology Assessment in Baden-Württemberg (download: ecorisk.ethz.ch/Morosini.html ).
