Maria Di Biase is a clinical neuroscientist with a strong interest in translational psychiatry research. Her work examines the neurobiological and genetic basis of large-scale neuroimaging phenotypes in schizophrenia, in order to identify clinically meaningful biomarkers.

She currently holds an NHMRC Investigator Grant and heads the diffusion imaging stream of the North American Prodrome Longitudinal Study (NAPLS).
