Marie Bannier-Hélaouët

I obtained my Masters degree in Biosciences from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, France.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in cancer, development and stem cell biology in Hans Clevers' lab at the Hubrecht Institute in the Netherlands. I focus on establishing in vitro models, called organoids, from ocular tissues. Using these new models, we can study a plethora of diseases in a dish and, potentially, identify new treatment options for future patients.
