I have a Pharm. D, from France, a PhD in Biochemical Parasitology (basically biochemistry) from Glasgow University and a PhD in Philosophy, Art and Critical Thoughts from the European Graduate School, Saas-Fee, Switzerland.

I have been a researching neglected parasitic diseases for 18 + years.

I am now teaching metabolism and nutrition to Medical students at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

I am interested in bringing more of the humanities into the teaching of the health sciences. I acquired a PhD in the humanities to satisfy that desire.
