Mario Carta

Mario Carta, co-leader of the Mulle-Carta team (“Synaptic circuits”, IINS), has a strong expertise in the study of synaptic plasticity and synaptic circuits in the mouse cortex and in in vivo investigation of cortical circuits by using 2P microscopy to study sensory processing in the posterior insular cortex in awake behaving mice.
