Lecturer in Cinema and Media, RMIT University

I teach Cinema at RMIT University and New Media at Monash University. I am a filmmaker and screenwriter, the Chapter Head of the Australian Directors Guild (Vic) and past Chair of the Australian Writers' Guild (Vic). My documentary Fearless screened on ABC1 in 2010 and the feature I wrote, A Single Life (1987) won an AFI Award. I have lectured in Cinema at RMIT since 2007 and New Media at Monash since 2010. I co-authored the book Shining a Light: 50 Years of the AFI with Lisa French, published in 2009. The iBook version is now available on iTunes.
