Reader in Human Development and Education Policy, University of Strathclyde

Markus Klein is a Reader in Human Development and Education Policy at the University of Strathclyde's School of Education. Previously, he worked as a research fellow for the Applied Quantitative Methods Network (AQMeN) at the University of Edinburgh and earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Mannheim. Using quantitative methods and secondary data analysis, his research focuses primarily on the mechanisms underlying social inequality throughout the life span. His research findings have appeared in journals like Child Development, Sociological Science, European Sociological Review, and Social Science Research.
