Marsha Campbell-Yeo

Professor, School of Nursing, Dalhousie University

Dr Marsha Campbell-Yeo, PhD, NNP-BC, RN, is a certified neonatal nurse practitioner, a Professor at the School of Nursing at Dalhousie University, a Clinician Scientist at the IWK Health Centre (cross appointment in the Department of Pediatrics and Psychology & Neuroscience) and a Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) funded New Investigator. Her research lab, “Mechanisms, Outcomes, and Mobilization of maternally-Led Interventions for Newborn Care” (MOM-LINC), examines the effectiveness of maternally-led interventions to improve outcomes of at-risk infants related to stress, pain and neurodevelopment as well as improving uptake of interventions by both parents and health care providers through innovative strategies and e-Health technology. Dr Campbell-Yeo is also a director on the Council of International Neonatal Nurses (COINN) Board of Directors, an elected councilor of the International Association for the Study of Pain Special Interest Group on Pain in Childhood, and a recognized member of the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists within the Royal Society of Canada.
